We have contacted a couple of bloggers whose work we value a lot and who have shown their attachment to Stone Island, in order to speak about them and about their relationship with us. Here's what they have told us.
Hi guys, my name is David Fischer and I am the founder of Titel Media. We operate a series of online lifestyle magazines/blogs, including Highsnobiety.com and Selectism.com.
I have been familiar with the brand for a long time already. I think I probably owned my first Stone Island piece end of the 90s. Its one of those brands that stayed steadily on my radar over the years.
Innovative, solid, easy to wear.
Aside from the outerwear, I also always loved the Stone Island heavy knitwear.
I am not sure to be honest. I think the brand has done a great job choosing its collaborators, making sure that it does never loose its own DNA. If you look at the Shadow Project line, it is still for me a 100% Stone Island product. If anything, I think the brand could need a stronger accessories and footwear range, so I think a designer collaboration in these areas could be interesting. Otherwise, the brand innovates so much by itself, I am not sure a design collaboration is needed, unless for small side projects.

Well, it would be very interesting to see Jun Takahashi design some piece for Stone Island
