Carlo Rivetti, Stone Island's founder, has been looking to launch a sunglasses collection for some time now and personally handpicked sunglass specialists, EG Brands, as the ideal collaborator.
As you would expect from any Stone Island product, function is paramount and this collection of sunglasses has been created to the highest and most exacting technical standards. Carbon fibre has been used in certain styles and has undergone the kind of resistance testing usually reserved for F1 cars. Each piece in the collection is handmade by a skilled craftsman, while the lenses have been supplied by industry leaders, Carl Zeiss Vision, and offer unparalleled clarity and protection.
Finally, in terms of styling, the collection takes iconic frame shapes that are familiar and time tested, and updates them in a sharp contemporary style that fits perfectly with the aesthetic of Stone Island.
